"The Corpse of a Titan, A Lament Long Buried" is the seventh full-length studio album by the British symphonic black metal band Hecate Enthroned, released on 2026, through M-Theory Audio. This release marks the veteran band's return after a seven-year studio absence, following their 2019 album Embrace of the Godless Aeon.
A return to the band's epic, atmospheric, and symphonic roots of the late 1990s, blending intense black metal aggression with brutal death metal elements and a powerful, modern production.
The concept is heavily inspired by ancient British lore, pagan traditions, and Celtic mythology, drawing specifically from the medieval Welsh collection of tales, the Mabinogion.
Produced by the band alongside Dan Abela (known for his work with Akercocke and Anaal Nathrakh), who handled the mixing and mastering.
