Terms of Service
1. General
Use of the “GROOVARK” website is subject to acceptance of the following terms. The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
2. Product Availability
• Limited Stock: Due to the nature of collectible editions and vinyl records, a product may appear available but may simultaneously be out of stock. In such cases, you will be promptly informed regarding a refund or replacement with another title.
• Pre-orders: Release dates are determined by record labels and may change without any liability on our part.
3. Prices & Payments
• All prices include VAT [24%].
• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout before payment completion.
• Accepted payment methods: [Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Cash on Delivery, Bank Transfer, Iris].
4. Shipping & Delivery
• Packaging: We are committed to using special reinforced cardboard packaging to ensure maximum protection of records.
• Delivery Time: Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier companies, strikes, natural phenomena, or extraordinary circumstances such as health-related issues, illness, etc.
• Inspection upon Delivery: Please inspect the parcel externally upon receipt. All parcels are delivered sealed and in excellent condition to the couriers. We bear no responsibility for external or internal damage to the parcel. If the packaging appears visibly crushed or torn, please contact us for possible resolution of the issue in good faith from both sides.
5. Returns & Withdrawal Policy
• Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to return a product within 14 calendar days from receipt.
• Product Condition: To be eligible for return, the record must be in its original condition, sealed in its factory shrink wrap. Opened records are non-returnable.
• Defective Products: We bear no responsibility for sealed records or CDs, nor for possible incorrect vinyl color from the record label or defective vinyl/CD.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for minor cosmetic corner damages (“corner dings”) that may occur during transport from production, although we make every effort to select the best available copies.
7. Special Terms for Used Vinyl / Compact Disc
• Grading System: All used records are visually graded (and where possible, play-graded) according to the internationally recognized Goldmine Standard. The stated condition (e.g., Near Mint, Very Good Plus) applies to both the Media and the Sleeve.
• Subjectivity of Grading: Grading used records involves a degree of subjectivity. We make every effort to provide the most accurate description possible, including photographs of visible defects where applicable.
• Returns of Used Items: Returns of used records are accepted only if the condition of the item you received differs significantly from the description provided on the website (e.g., listed as “Near Mint” but received as “Very Good/Good” with deep scratches affecting sound quality).
• Normal Wear: Minor wear due to age (e.g., light “ring wear” on the sleeve or mild “surface noise” on older recordings), when mentioned in the description or visible in photos, does not constitute grounds for return.
