Groovark is the new online record store created with the aim of offering quality releases: new and used vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes from a wide spectrum of the music discography, without limitations or sonic boundaries.

Our story did not begin with an e-store, but with the ink of a fanzine. Thirty-three years ago, the need for expression and a love for heavy sound gave birth to Metal Defiance Fanzine.

From those pages until today, our musical tastes have broadened, our ears and soul have been trained and matured, yet the goal remains the same: the pursuit of good music whether it is metal, pop οr rock.

At Groovark, music is our own ark. A “space” built with love and decades of experience, from the era of tape trading and the explosion of the CD to the rebirth of vinyl.

We always stand against the soulless convenience of streaming and insist on physical formats, as only they can offer a complete listening experience of a beloved album: through the cover art, the lyrics, the photographs of each release and the analog sound.

Our priority is quality over quantity, albums that we first and foremost love ourselves and are delighted to recommend to you, so they can earn a place in your collection.

With prior experience gained through concert organization, distro activities, and running a cassette label, we aspire for this new venture to earn your trust and support.

Our goal is to continuously improve, to “grow,” and to provide the best possible services.
