For the first time ever, a selection of Edge Of Sanity's obscure, earliest recordings is officially available on 2LP (23 tracks). Under the title "Elegy - Chapter I", the early (promo, pro-be or studio) demos "Euthanasia" (1989), "The Immortal Rehearsals" (1990), "kur-nu-gi-a" (1990), "The Dead" (1990) and "Dead But Dreaming" (1991) were brought from the graveyard to the morgue for resuscitation by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath). All five demos have been remastered by Swanö, with the 13 tracks of "Euthanasia", "kur-nu-gi-a" and "The Dead" also receiving necromantic remixes for the bonus disc. Equipped with a brand new, hand-drawn cover by artist Mark Rudolph (Carcass, Undeath), "Elegy - Chapter I" is from the old guard for all sentinels to relive or rediscover. Edge Of Sanity have not always been at the forefront of death metal. No, on "Elegy - Chapter I" the Swedes have actually bled death metal.
