Babymetal – Metal Forth CD

The official fourth studio album by BABYMETAL. The title serves as a clever double entendre, functioning both as a play on words meaning "beyond heavy metal" and as a literal indicator of their fourth canonical album (excluding their 2023 concept album, The Other One). The album marks a monumental turning point in the band's 15-year career. It serves as a celebration of their global footprint by leaning entirely into cross-cultural collaborations. Unlike their earlier releases, only three tracks on this 10-song record do not feature a guest artist. The album fuses BABYMETAL's signature Japanese "kawaii metal" with the signature styles of western metal, electronica, and alternative rock giants. This is the very first studio album to officially credit and feature Momoko Okazaki (Momometal) as a core member of the trio alongside Su-metal and Moametal.  The album achieved immense commercial success, peaking at number nine on the Billboard 200, making BABYMETAL the first Japanese act in history to reach the top ten on that chart.
