Aborym – Metachaos CD

Ninth studio album by Italian industrial black metal pioneers Aborym. The 9-track, 42-minute record marks a massive, aggressive "return to form". It actively leaves behind the alternative industrial rock and grunge experiments of their previous records (like 2021's Hostile) to dive straight back into uncompromising, raw sonic violence. A fierce amalgamation of modern black metal and mechanical industrial music, heavily drawing inspiration from the band's classic late-90s and early-2000s era. Deeply disturbing, macabre, and claustrophobic. The production is modern, dense, and clinical, allowing space for prominent, heavy basslines and robotic, hard-hitting drum dynamics.
