Antrisch – Expedition III: Renitenzpfad CD

Expedition III: Renitenzpfad takes Antrisch’s atmospheric black metal into a bleak, cinematic landscape shaped by isolation, cold and the overwhelming force of nature. Combining furious black metal passages with expansive melodies, haunting ambience and dramatic shifts in intensity, the album feels less like a conventional record and more like the soundtrack to a perilous journey through unforgiving terrain. Dark, immersive and majestic, it balances raw aggression with a strong sense of atmosphere and storytelling. It features suffocating, heavy soundscapes, intense tremolo picking, and deeply desperate, theatrical German vocals that mirror the madness of the expedition members.
