Necromantia – Alpha And Omega - The Coiling Dragon CD x 2 (A5 digibook)

Few bands in the history of Hellenic Black Metal have created an atmosphere as distinctive and enduring as NECROMANTIA. Formed in 1989 by Magus Wampyr Daoloth and the late Baron Blood, the Greek cult legends developed a sound that was dark, theatrical and unmistakably their own from the very beginning.

This luxurious 2CD A5 digibook gathers the recordings that preceded their landmark debut album Crossing the Fiery Path, including the legendary Promo 1990, their tracks from the seminal split The Black Arts / The Everlasting Sins with VARATHRON, the rare “Family Of Dog”, and Demo 1993.

Already on their earliest material, NECROMANTIA had established the elements that would define their sound: dual bass guitars instead of conventional rhythm guitars, haunting and eccentric arrangements, ritualistic atmosphere and the unmistakable vocals of Magus. Raw, mysterious and deeply atmospheric, these recordings capture one of the most important chapters in the birth of the Hellenic Black Metal sound.

A definitive collection of NECROMANTIA’s formative years and an essential document of the Greek underground’s early legacy.

Luxurious A5 digibook double-CD with a 88 page booklet including a new interview with The Magus and many others new liner notes and interviews.
