Ladytron – Paradises CD
With Paradises, Ladytron release their long-awaited eighth studio album - and at the same time pick up on the most formative moments of their career. After more than two decades as one of the style-defining bands of electronic pop music, the trio returns with a work that is luxurious, emotional and dancefloor-oriented in equal measure. With 16 tracks and over 70 minutes, Paradises is the band's most extensive album to date. Ladytron's sound is more focused and direct than it has been since Light & Magic - and at the same time represents their biggest developmental step since the milestone Witching Hour. Produced by Daniel Hunt and mixed by long-term collaborator Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys), the album combines early electro, proto-house and disco references with a modern, elegant pop aesthetic.
