Dimmu Borgir – Grand Serpent Rising CD

Grand Serpent Rising is the tenth studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, released on 2026. This release marks the band's return after an eight-year studio silence following Eonian (2018), and it is their first record since the 2024 departure of long-time guitarist Galder.

Reviews highlight the album as an atavistic "return to form" that balances the band's signature cinematic grandeur with a stripped-back, riff-driven aggression reminiscent of the 2001–2003 golden era (Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia and Death Cult Armageddon).
